Ryerson Commerce Society

On behalf of the Ryerson Commerce Society (RCS), I would like to welcome and thank you for showing interest in the Ted Rogers Management Conference (TRMC).

The RCS is the umbrella organization representing over 7,000 full-time undergraduate commerce students in the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. The RCS is operated through a Board of Directors including five executive members and nine Program Directors representing the four streams of management. The RCS also has a Secretary, General Manager, and two committees; the Corporate Relations Committee, and the Internal Relations Committee whose members encompass the Executives of the Ted Rogers Management Conference Committee.

The RCS works hard each year to host and support various events, conferences, and competitions within Ryerson, Canada, and internationally. As the umbrella organization serving full-time commerce students and student groups, it is our mission to support the student body linking the four schools of management together with the goal of advancing the name and success of the Ted Rogers School of Management. This year, one of the main goals of the RCS is growth; growth in terms of events and services, support to the student body, outreach, and national representation at conferences and competitions. This leads into the Ted Rogers Management Conference which will be the first National Conference hosted out of the Ted Rogers School of Management.

It is with great pleasure that we can host this prestigious three day conference celebrating the life of one of Canada’s brightest business minds. This conference will bring together top minded students from business schools across the nation to embark on a memorable learning experience. Students; we thank you for showing interest and if you attend you will be in for an amazing experience, Industry professionals; thank you for your valued support of the Ted Rogers School of Management and making this event possible, Canada; stay posted for media coverage as we celebrate the life of Ted Rogers.
