TRMC 2012 is going to be an example of where the industry is headed. Technology in business, has been quite focused in the past, but with all the technology now being integrated, every business can now have technology based solutions that open new doors. We want to exhibit this at TRMC 2012. We want to show, see and collaboratively learn how technology can make business more well rounded and how innovations can help businesses broaden their horizons.

In this position, I hope to secure speakers who truly embody this year’s theme of “ID: Inner Drive.” By doing this, I hope that I am able to inspire all delegates to discover what motivates them in order to find their personal niche. As a result I hope that this pushes the boundaries of the business norm, allowing students to blend together sections of the industry that would not normally be paired together. It is my goal to bring speakers who are creative, innovative, and charismatic in order to inspire the delegates of the Ted Rogers Management Conference to find their own Inner Drive.

I would firstly like to get a better taste of the corporate side of business as this is my first opportunity, taking on a corporate role. Apart from the benefit of my personal experience and development, I would like to represent that Ted Roger School of Management by contributing towards making this conference as great as it can possibly be. Being that this is a International conference, with some students coming from across the world, I want to help leave the lasting impression on them that the Ted Rogers School of Management is a strong up and coming business school, and the quality work that our students bring is at a level of excellence.
