Ted Rogers Management Conference

Chair Welcome Letter

We are blown away by the love and success TRMC has achieved over the past 11 years. As we venture into TRMC’s 12th year, it is a privilege and an honour to be chairing this conference and leading it to even greater heights.

Although we are currently facing one of the toughest times in recent history, we believe that we will come out of this stronger together. At this year’s conference, we want to focus on overcoming adversities, setbacks, and any other lemons life throws our way. As always, TRMC will continue to encourage its delegates to step out of their comfort zones and on to new horizons, test their limits with an integrated case competition, connect them to various top industry leaders, and much more. We are thrilled to bring back to you some of your favourite events, in addition to some new exciting surprises!

We’ve been apart for months, it’s time to finally come together and celebrate; everything. We look forward to hosting you at the greatest conference TRMC has ever seen – the best is here.

The Conference

To be North America’s forum for innovative leaders of the futureThe Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM), housed at Ryerson University, was rebranded by the transformative gift from Ted and Loretta Rogers. The school has remained consistent to the vision advocated by one of its biggest supporters: to create an entrepreneurial-focused business school designed to develop innovative global leaders. As student leaders, we continue to advocate this mission through our commitment to the Ted Rogers Management Conference (TRMC). Originally inspired by a group of student leaders, senior administration and faculty, TRMC is designed to attract North America’s brightest students to an intensive three-day professional development forum. Students have an opportunity to engage with both their peers as well as industry experts through professional workshops, case competitions, and networking opportunities.

  • Ryerson Business Forum

A formal lunch where delegates get to network with industry and alumni as well as enjoy a panel discussion from industry leaders.

  • Case Competition

An intensive competition where delegates will cut a case that is relevant to the Toronto community. Innovative ideas will need to be brought to the table to have a strong showing.

  • Accommodations

Delegates will stay at a hotel in Downtown Toronto. This will provide delegates with a convenient location for all events during the conference.

  • Gala

The Gala brings industry partners, Ryerson faculty and delegates together to celebrate the end of the conference.
